Financial Assistant I

September 2013 - Present | Cambridge, MA

Aided the financial office within the Earth, Atmospheric and Planetary Sciences Department in managing finances by analyzing and projecting professors’ research accounts, reconciling financial documents, and supporting in other various financial and administrative tasks such as submission of research grant proposals.

I organized and led a team of friends and family, the Koala Kongs, to run up one of Boston's tallest buildings at an event called ClimbAmerica which was put on by Brigham and Women's Hospital and raised over $30,000 to fight America's #1 killer: heart disease. Our team raised over $2,000, which was the second most out of nearly 200 teams! I also designed out team shirts. Click here to watch a short video the Boston CBS station did on the event.
